On April 23rd, CanCURE hosted "Community Conversations on HIV Cure: What We Know, What We Don’t, and What’s Next" in the margins of the Canadian Association for HIV Research conference held in Winnipeg. The event brough together researchers, community members, and knowledge holders for a meaningful afternoon of presentations and open dialogue.

The program covered updates on HIV cure research by Nicolas Chomont, the launch of the CATCH network by Zabrina Brumme and a discussion on end-of-life HIV cure research program by Isabelle Turcotte. A diverse panel made for engaging and genuinely impactful discussions, keeping the conversation grounded in both science and lived experience.

A heartfelt thank you to our panelists, moderators, partners and to every person who showed up and shared their story 🎤✨
