

Community Conversations on HIV Cure
More than 50 people gathered to exchange ideas On April 23rd, CanCURE hosted "Community Conversations on HIV Cure: What We Know, What We Don’t, and What’s Next" in the margins of the Canadian Association for HIV Research conference held in Winnipeg. The event brough together researchers, community members, and knowledge holders for a meaningful afternoon of presentations and open dialogue. 2025 Annual Meeting in Montreal
The meeting was held in a hybrid format, allowing members across Canada to attend On october 20 and 21 2025, CanCURE held its annual meeting at the Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM), in Montreal. This event brought toghether the Investigators, trainees and CAB members to review the team's latest achievements, discuss upcoming challenges and assess progress on ongoing initiatives.


CanCURE 3.0 Launch Meeting
A multidisciplinary team with a common objective: Translating basic knowledge on HIV reservoirs and persistence into therapeutic approaches. Our ultimate goal is to develop a safe and scalable cure for HIV infection. The CanCURE team includes immunologists, virologists, clinicians, community representatives and people with HIV who work together to elaborate an innovative and translational research program
